Rakshabandhan is nearing. The festival is a delight for all the sisters as they get to tie the thread of love called ‘rakhi’ on their brothers’ wrists and in return get nice gifts from them. As the festival nears, a wave of happiness spreads in every household, as sisters get busy selecting the most beautiful and unique rakhis for their brothers. According to the Hindu Shashtras, Rakshabandhan is celebrated on ShraavanPoornima. This year, in 2014, Raksha bandhan will fall on 10th August, which is a Sunday.
